Five new drivers  join More Than Equal’s global high-performance development pathway alongside existing cohort athletes

A first-of-its-kind collaboration is using advanced data science to help identify and develop the next generation of elite female racing drivers.

Global motorsport and industry leaders join the initiative, bringing world-class expertise and counsel as More than Equal scales its high-performance female driver programme.

The ground-breaking partnership strengthens the female talent pipeline, providing expert support for drivers and launching new research-driven initiatives to advance women in motorsport. More than Equal’s high-performance programme for younger drivers complements F1 ACADEMY’s mission to elevate female talent at the next stage of their careers.  

Groundbreaking partnership between Manchester Metropolitan University Institute of Sport and More than Equal to advance female athlete performance research, which seeks to build a comprehensive profile of what it takes to develop world-leading female drivers from karting through to F1.  

The programme, co-founded by David Coulthard, aims to find and develop the next female Formula 1 World Champion.

Talented young female drivers from Australia, Austria, Czech Republic, Malaysia, Slovakia and the United Kingdom will join the inaugural cohort.

The pioneering programme is dedicated to identifying and coaching female drivers with the highest potential globally. Applications are open to all countries and nationalities from January 4 - 31, 2024.
